Reflection from 2nd filming session

In our second filming session. We moved on to one of our very important scenes which was basically showing our popular teen character that pretends to be wealthy is actually not. In this session w aimed to establish where she really lives and how she decepts her everyday life. We wanted to show how she lies to her friends at college but the audience are in on the secret and in this scene that's where it becomes clear. W filmed outside an Estate in angel Islington and at a local bus stop where the estate was.

What went well

In the background is the estate we used to
establish where this character
really lives.
In this session although the weather was very cold it didn't prevent us from filming where as in our first session a lot of time was wasted due to rain and so we had to wait until that stopped before we started filming. This allowed us more time to film and so we didn't feel rushed, another thong that went well was that we were able to shot in all our designated locations which meant not a lot of time was wasted on finding the locations we desired to film at. One other important thing that went well was the use of the tripod. We learnt that using the wheel to film was not really effective for the type of shots we were using and so we learnt that using the tripod was so much better and are shorts were a lot more clearer and stable. We plan to carry on using that for the rest of our production.

                                                          Problems we had

When the shots we filmed were viewed the feedback we got back were that most our shots were badly framed for example a lot of our shots included a lot of head space which was incorrect and so this made things look very unprofessional.

Next filming session

in our next filming session we are going to have to re film this scene due to how bad our shots were framed. In advance we've been shown how to correctly framed our shots so we can get it right in our future shots
