Once you open Motion, click file and open templates, and you will be bale to look through a load of templates. There is also a tab with theme which if you click in the different boxes, the templates are sections, so there are plain and simple template, 3D, and so forth.
When you open the template, it will appear much bigger, and you'll have the option to play, along with a number of tools to edit. If you play it and stop it on a piece of text, you will be able to edit the edit the text. A tool bar will show up on the side where you can change the font, colour, size ect. You can also import your own pictures if you click file.
